GIF Resizer and GIF Cropper

Crop selects part of the image; resize changes the dimensions of that selection. You can use either on its own or combine them. The same crop and size are applied to every frame.

Crop animated GIFs

Drag inside the crop box to move it and drag a corner or edge to change its size. Choose Free, Square, 4:3, or 16:9, or enter exact pixel coordinates. Reset the crop to keep the full image.

Resize GIF dimensions

Enter a smaller output width or height. Lock the aspect ratio to avoid stretching, or unlock it for a custom shape. This tool supports original size and downsizing; it does not upscale.

Keep the animation

Frame timing and loop settings are preserved. Cropping keeps the selected pixels; resizing resamples them and can change fine details. File size may increase or decrease. Use GIF Compressor if you need a target file size.

Yes. Move and resize the crop box to select the area you want to keep. The crop applies to every frame while preserving playback timing and loop settings.

Cropping removes the area outside your selection. Resizing changes the width and height of the selected area. You can crop without scaling, resize the full image, or do both.

Files are uploaded to the server for processing. Originals and results are temporary, expire 1 hour after upload, and are removed by a scheduled cleanup task. Download your result before it expires.

Currently, GIF input and output are supported, up to 20 MB and 1024 pixels per dimension. Frame count, duration, and total decoded pixels are also limited; very complex files may need to be simplified.

Smaller dimensions often reduce file size, but the result depends on the image content and encoding. For a specific KB or MB limit, use GIF Compressor.

This version supports the original size or smaller output dimensions, up to the size of the crop. Enlarging is not supported.
